Facilities at Tasburgh Village Hall

We have a choice of facilities suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities.

We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers.

Main Hall

Capacity: 130 people
Pricing: £7.00-£13.00 per hour

The Large Hall (23ft x 77ft) is the main room for functions, events and larger parties. It has a stage area, dance floor and is flexible enough to be laid out for a formal wedding reception, or other function in conjunction with the clubroom. This room can be used by up to 130 people depending on seating arrangements.

We also hold martial arts, dancing, Scouts, yoga etc. in the main hall. We hold many children's parties, and have included indoor bouncy castles.

We provide tables, comfy chairs, with use of smaller tables and chairs if required.

There are also toilets which can be used by main hall users only.

Small Hall

Capacity: 50 people
Pricing: £7.00-£12.00 per hour

The Small Hall (22ft x 37ft) is great for smaller, informal gatherings and has direct access to the kitchen. It is carpeted, with comfortable seating. There is an outside seating area in direct sight of the play area and field.

It is ideal for parties, meetings, presentations and children’s birthday parties.

The Tasburgh Sports and Social Club is held here on:

Tuesday (1830-2300),
Friday (1830-2300),
Sunday (1400-1800).

It is also held on Saturdays (1400-1800), when there is no event booked.

Small Hall & Bar

Capacity: 50 people
Pricing: £14.00-£23.00 per hour

The Small Hall (22ft x 37ft) is great for smaller, informal gatherings and houses the well-stocked bar as well as direct access to the kitchen. It is carpeted, with comfortable seating. There is an outside seating area in direct sight of the play area and field.

It is ideal for parties, meetings, presentations and children’s birthday parties.

The Tasburgh Sports and Social Club, is held here on:

Tuesday (1830-2300),
Friday (1830-2300),
Sunday (1400-1800).

It is also held on Saturdays (1400-1800), when there is no event booked.

Both rooms can be booked for large events. They are linked by double doors which give an easy flow from room to room. The stage can be booked for £50, and the drapes for £100.

Both rooms plus the bar can be booked for large events. They are linked by double doors which give an easy flow from room to room. The stage can be booked for £50, and the drapes for £100.

Pricing: £10.00-£28.00 per hour

Tasburgh Village Hall can be booked in its entirety on Saturdays - mainly for wedding receptions - the main event taking place in the main hall, with the small hall and bar accessed by adjoining double doors, with a separate entrance from the car park. The committee room can be used for storing gifts, etc, and for Father Christmas, Princess Elsa and others to make a grand entrance from the committee room. Bands are able to store their equipment here.

The entire hall - all three rooms, kitchen, plus outside paved and seating areas, play area and field - is also used for local events such as fetes, art show, music events.

Committee Room

Capacity: 30 people
Pricing: £7.00-£10.50 per hour

The Committee Room (12ft x 27ft) can accommodate up to 30 people and is ideal for smaller gatherings, group activities or presentations.

It has a sink and tea/coffee making facilities with access to toilets.

Kitchen

Capacity: 10 people
Pricing: No charge

The kitchen is for use with any booking of the main hall, clubroom or both, without charge.
It is fully equipped with two double cookers, two microwaves and kettles, a large water urn, and large refrigerator.
We provide crockery and cutlery, with minimal cooking implements. A soup urn can be provided.
We do not, at present, provide glassware, but most book these along with table linen, chair covers etc. from their event hirers.

Field and Play Area

Capacity: 180 people
Pricing: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

This large, pleasant field includes a children's play area, and can be used for informal sporting events, such as rounders and football. Our regular user groups such as Scouts, Yoga and Kuk Sool martial arts often go outside in fine weather.

Tennis Court Flood Lights

Capacity: 4 people
Pricing: £3.50-£5.50 per hour

Kitchen

The kitchen is for use with any booking of the main hall, clubroom or both, without charge.
It is fully equipped with two double cookers, two microwaves and kettles, a large water urn, and large refrigerator.

Bar

A major part of Tasburgh Sports and Social Club, can be booked for events in the clubroom only, or entire hall. The bar is staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers.

£5.00 per half hour.

PLEASE NOTE: Under licensing laws, no alcohol is allowed on village hall premises, unless provided through Tasburgh Sports and Social Club, i.e. from the bar in the clubroom, with the exception of alcohol provided for toasts only.
